"Just passed LPIC-2 test 1 (barely). 60 questions, need 500 out of 800 to pass. I got a 620.

Ugh! Tough test. My test taking methodology is to make a first pass and flag the questions I either don't know or will take time to figure out for review, then make a second pass and answer those questions that take time, then make a final pass to see if I can suss out the answers for the questions I don’t know.

I marked 26 question on the first pass, and that is a lot for me. Of those 26, 16 of them were in none of the study material I had (including Linux Academy). Also, there were 14 Fill-in-blank questions, which I hate. I had several of those marked also, but when I thought about it, the answers generally came to me.

I don't want to get into specifics on the questions, but I would advise getting ahold of the test domains from examgood.com and make sure you know inside and out EVERY TOPIC!

LPI did release v4.5 of their objectives right as we released the refresh of the LPIC-2 courses. Although almost everything was an addition (meaning that our course is still 100% relevant), there are some additional materials that need to be added.
